Free Credits Policy#
What are Free Credits?#
Snapkit provides free credits to all organizations every month. This allows you to experience and use Snapkit's key features without a paid subscription.
Allocation and Renewal Cycle#
Monthly Allocation#
- Asset Transformations: 1,000 requests
- Storage: 5GB (Snapkit Managed)
- Team Members: Maximum 2 members
Renewal Schedule#
- Automatically renewed on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC
- Unused credits do not roll over
Behavior After Credit Exhaustion#
Asset Transformation#
When transformation quota is exceeded:
- Transformations are not performed, only the original image is returned
- Images display normally but are not optimized
- Upload and other features are not blocked
Storage#
Snapkit Managed#
- New image uploads are blocked when free storage quota is exceeded
- Existing images remain accessible
- To free up storage space, delete existing images or upgrade to Pro plan
Bring Your Own AWS (BYOA)#
- No storage limit (free)
- AWS S3 charges are billed separately by AWS
- Snapkit does not charge for storage costs
Team Members#
- Free plan allows up to 2 members
- Invitations are blocked starting from the 3rd member
- Unlimited member invites available with Pro plan subscription
